KIDSTIX!
Rockin' Repertoire for Rhythm Readiness
by Artie Almeida
THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN FULLY FUNDED! THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO DONATED!
We are taking MUSIC to a whole new level!
I am using this new curriculum called “KidStix!” that all K-4 students will use throughout the year.
With this curriculum I am creating a class set of “Stick Stations” that will be used to teach the skill of reading music, give practice playing together in a group, and have a whole lot of fun just jammin’ and making music!
Each Stick Station will contain a pair of drum sticks, a tambourine, a plastic cutting board and a metal can (such as a coffee can or #10 can). Links and pictures are shown below so you can see what I’m looking for!
Let me know if you’d like to help! Email: [email protected]
Thank you so much! ~Mrs. Rothra
